3 Laws of Fishermen in Network Marketing

3 Laws of Fishermen in Network Marketing

1. Go where the fishes are
Fishermen go where the fishes are—in the ocean. In the Network Marketing business, fishes are
everywhere! All you have to do is learn the three crucial skills for this system.

The first crucial skill is to see more people. Talk to anyone who will stand still long enough to
listen to you. The second is to see more people. Keep calling people. You may be the best presenter in
town but if you do not search for more prospects, you will be out of the business. You can be an excellent dresser and have a great personality, but without significant volume of presentation, you will only be an average. The third and the last crucial skill is to see more people. Many network marketers just go along with the business and never reach their potential. They think it is because they were not able to convince their prospects but it is quite the opposite, they were not able to come across with the right prospects. That is a big difference so talk to anyone and go where the fishes are.

Do not ever get tired to tell your story. Your residual income is in direct proportion to the number of people that you can enroll in your organization and become your business builders. Start with your warm list of prospects (family members, friends, associates and other close relatives) before you try the cold list or strangers.

As the saying goes, “The grass looks greener on the other side of the fence.” That is where your prospects are. You should offer this opportunity as a special gift to someone.

2. Use the right bait
The fishermen uses the right bait to catch the right fish. In a Network Marketing business, you must have the right attitude, skills and the tools (e.g. Law of Leverage Primer) to motivate and guide your prospects for the business. The quality of your trainings and support system will determine the level of commitment, bonding and growth you establish with your business partners. The cardinal rule in building a solid and effective network organization is to:

Help them first—your partners and associates—to get what they want in life before you get what
you want. We should use the business to make great people and not to use people to make great
business.

Practice the principle of giving: If you want joy, give joy to others; if you want love, learn to give
love; if you want material affluence, help others become materially affluent, too. The more you give the more you will receive and abundance will evolve in your life. Remember that anything of value in life only multiplies when it is sincerely given.

If you want all the good things in life, learn to share to everyone the good things in life.
Reciprocation is the dynamics of seed-giving. You will receive in proportion to what you have planted
and a reward insured by the Principle of the Harvest.

Sincere giving is like planting seeds in God’s garden. God nurtures them, multiplies them and makes them fruitful. God brings forth an abundant harvest. God, Himself being the gardener, will see to it that you will yield a bountiful harvest. Let the virtue of giving come from a pure heart. For the heart, not the gift makes a sincere giver.

3. Keep on fishing
The fishermen drop their nets at the right spots as many as they could to catch more fishes. They
practice the Principle of Average. The Principle of Average states that:

If you do something the same way over and over again, under the same condition or
circumstance, you will get a constant set of results.

If the goal is to catch 1,000 kilos and they catch an average of 50 kilos per drop of net, they need
to drop the nets in the water by 20 times in order to achieve the desired harvest of one thousand kilos.
It is through increase activity that you can achieve your desired result.

In Network Marketing business, you can also apply the Principle of Average. This is a number’s game business and new blood is the lifeblood of this industry. You have to look for desire, not need!

If you understand the Principle of Average, you will never entertain any failures, discouragements, and obstacles that may cross your way. Establish your own average and improve it. It is the name of the game.
